IT Systems Administrator · Jaipur
Infrastructure built to outlast the moment.
I keep servers, networks, and support desks running the way old buildings are kept standing — through steady maintenance, careful documentation, and knowing every corridor of the system by hand. RHCSA-certified, currently administering production infrastructure at Avyukta Intellicall.
About
"Every system, like every heritage building, needs someone who checks the joints before they fail."
A steady hand for critical systems
I'm Vedendra Raj Pal, an RHCSA-certified IT professional based in Jaipur, currently working as a Linux & DevOps Engineer at Avyukta Intellicall, where I administer RHEL production servers supporting mission-critical services with 99%+ uptime.
My work sits at the intersection of systems administration, network infrastructure, and first-line technical support — diagnosing hardware and connectivity issues, hardening systems with SELinux and firewalld, and keeping clear documentation so nothing depends on memory alone.
I'm drawn to environments where reliability actually matters to the people who depend on it — which is exactly why I'd welcome the chance to bring that discipline to an institution that has spent centuries getting reliability right.
Experience
Where I've kept things running
- Administer RHEL production servers supporting mission-critical services with 99%+ uptime, including proactive log analysis, performance tuning, and issue troubleshooting.
- Provide first-line technical support and system maintenance for production infrastructure; diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and service partners on infrastructure needs; maintain system documentation, SOPs, and IT inventory.
- Enforce security hardening across systems: SELinux policies, firewalld rules, and RBAC-based access control.
- Deployed and maintained the VICIdial telephony stack (MySQL, HTTPD, Asterisk), including SIP trunking and dial plans.
- Built and maintained an end-to-end deployment pipeline (Jenkins + GitHub Webhooks + AWS EC2).
- Provisioned and administered AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM); configured access policies and hosted static websites.
- Containerized applications using Docker with bridge networking and multi-container configuration.
